The sun, although a seemingly ordinary star in the universe, located in the Milky Way galaxy holds the solar system together. Apart from being the center of the solar system, it provides the warmth and light indispensable to the life on Earth and maintaining our planet's delicate ecosystem by its energy.
The dominance of sun in our lives can never be overstated as the rising of it signals the starts of the day and its setting marks the arrival of darkness.
However, we can learn some valuable lessons on our perceptions and emotions by observing the effect of sun in our lives in different seasons.
I remember my childhood days, sitting on the porch of our home during winter vacations, baskin in the sun's rays, feeling its warmth seeping into my bones. During that time, I did not pay any heed to effects of prolonged sun's exposure on my skin (sunburns) or my mother's concerns about my brown skin getting more darker. My love for bathing in sun rays was and is always on peak during winter season.
However, during the summer season, my relationship with the sun takes on a different dimension. The sun's UV rays are the most intense at this time of the year, and prolonged exposure to them without proper protection can cause harm to skin. The summers in North-western India are extremely hot and dry, and this relentless heat from the sun poses a constant challenge, causing me to take extra care of my skin to protect it from the intense rays.
During rainy season, I find myself praying for sun to peek out from the clouds.

I hope you are getting my point. For Earth, the sun is constant, unchanging, and the same every day. It is my relationship that is changing with it according to my comfort. Such is our belief system. Our belief system is highly dependent on our perceptions. Our perceptions of the world and ourselves are moulded by everything we think and have been through. Like our background, culture, education, biases, social and media exposure, and personal attention and attitude majorly influence our perceptions.
However, it is important to understand that these perceptions are not set in stone and can change over time. By practicing mindfulness, keeping track of our thoughts, self-reflection, meditation seeking different perspectives, and challenging our biases and attitudes, seeking feedback we can work towards developing a clearer, more accurate perception of the world and ourselves. This can lead to better decision-making and a deeper understanding of who we are as individuals.
Our goal should be to have an open-mind and have a better understanding of the world. Most importantly, ours.
As the sun remains the same every day, but we apprehend it differently according to our mental state. In the same way we become what we perceive. By working towards developing a clearer and more accurate perception of the world, we can improve our decision-making abilities and have a deeper understanding of who we are as individuals.

Always remember! We become what we believe and we always have the choice what to believe.
Have a good day ahead!
See you soon...
