Gloomy on a bloomy day!

Yesterday, we went for dusshera celebrations in a ground-profoundly called dusshera maidan.
The decorations were beautiful. There were about 20 stalls spreading the glimpse of our wide culture. Art and craft, sarees , suits, games and food stalls were standing shoulder by shoulder to entertain and satisfy the customers. Standing in the full glory were the megnath, kumbhkaran and Ravana statue.
As we went before the gathering started,my lil one also enjoyed running here and there. I was also delighted to purchase and eat and see my son playing.
After some time, started a play showcasing the Ramayana-Story of Shri Ram and Sita. People started to gather in more numbers. And then started the event for which we all had gathered. An arrow left Shri Ram's bow and started towards Ravana to incise his stomach. Ravana was killed and the speaker announced "adharm pe dharm ki jeet ho k rehti h.Jai Shri Ram." And fireworks were started and filled the sky with lighting and colours (and pollution,of course) for about 15 mins.
Some people were happy, some were startled with such beauty.some people were satisfied of value of money (as they had contributed money for this event),some were worried the pollution the 🎆 fireworks were causing.
But, my heart filled with the pain for the children who makes them for fugile wages. They toil to fill their tummies and in return throwing their minds and bodies to endless diseases. They should also  be the ones enjoying the glory and beauty of these fireworks but they spend their lives dealing with deadly and tantalizing 🎆 fireworks. I could see the tears in those red, orange and yellow lights. I could see the pain of one more child being denied his right of education. I could see the frustration of one more child seeing his family his sleeping unfed even after so much of hard work. I could see the future of our country again going to sleep without eating. I could see his eyes filled with dreams of going to 🏫 school and be a person who could eradicate this evil. I could still see the hope in his eyes before closing.
I still hope that one day would come and  every individual would  get his/her equal rights and our country would actually become a democratic country. And that day "adharm pe dharma ki sahi me jeet hogi.".
Happy Dusshera
Vandey Matram ! :)
